I thought this blog was dead (for real) and it's been quite a while since I posted but I thought I'd give it another try. I guess blogging is unavoidable for me (I'm a former YA book blogger/reviewer) and I've decided to focus on my other passion: anime/manga. I'll mostly post reviews of manga here and the occasional anime rant, so bear with me!
I went to Japan with my mom last month and visited what I considered my second hometown, which is lovely Fukuoka. It's my 2nd time and I really prefer it more than Tokyo, since it has lesser people and is more laid back.
I didn't get to do much sight seeing since my mom can walk long distances so I was basically going around Tenjin and Hakata. I visited Ichiran for the 2nd time as well and the ramen was as delicious as the first time I ate there.
Our hotel room had an awesome view as well! It was a stone throw away from my favorite places, which was really convenient. We booked a small double room since we were on a budget but the hotel manager upgraded us to an awesome suite on our last night, so it was an amazing end to our vacation!

Excuse the crappy panoramic shot, I didn't have time to retake it. |
Of course I visited my favorite places (not temples!). Yep, I went to Lashinbang, Animate, and a friend messaged me last minute that there was a Suruga-ya branch near where we were staying!
I made two trips in Lashinbang and Book Off. The Super Bazaar branch is there so the selections are awesome! I'll be posting my manga haul (just the manga haul since I bought too many goods I didn't take much photo of them XD) and you can check out the photos below!
Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai (囀る鳥は羽ばたかない) Volume 6 by Yoneda Kou
I bought this from Animate Tenjin so I got the tokuten from there. Just the 4P leaflet though, I was told the other bonus (a message from sensei? or was it a bonus paper?) wasn't available anymore. Still glad I got the leaflet though!
Aku yori Aku (悪より悪) by YOhida Yuuko
Goshujin sama to Kedama (ご主人さまとけだま) by Koshikawa Ao
Unmei no Kisu wa Oazuke (運命のキスはおあずけ) by Natsuki Hakka
Goshujin sama is a favorite of mine. I think I've cried after reading it. And Unmei no Kisu wa Oazuke is one of the best omegaverse stories I've read. Arisaka is one of the most decent alphas out there!
Kocchi muite, Ai (こっちむいて、愛) by Michinoku Atami
Netsuai Nante Ariemasen! (熱愛なんてありえません!) by Suzaka Shina
Gelateria Supernova Royal Vanilla (ジェラテリアスーパーノヴァroyal vanilla) by Kitahala Lyee
These three are my favorites as well! I can't simply pick which one I liked better because I love all three stories!
Mother's Spirit (volume 1) (マザーズ スピリット) by Enzou
On Doorstep (オンドアステップ) by CTK
Enzou's Mother's Spirit is also one of my favorites among her works!
Jealousy (ジェラシー) by Scarlet Beriko
Memento Scarlet (メメント スカーレット) by Kusabi Keri
Memento Scarlet's scanlation is still ongoing but I'm super tempted to browse the book to find out how it ends! Jealousy is probably the only Scarlet Beriko work I don't really like, and I hate Rogi with a passion (no one can change my mind about it after what he'd done to Tatsuyuki), but the price of the book was too good to pass up so I bought it!
And I also bought a few "oldies" which I really, really liked!
Wonderful Days by Tenzen Momoko
Heart Strings (ハート・ストリングス) by Norikazu Akira
Wonderful Days and Heart Strings are both examples of me liking the spin offs than the original story. I didn't like Lotus Eater and even though I liked Twin's Labyrinth, Yuki and Sakaki are still my favorite couple. They're so manly!
Aoi Haru, Akai Ito (青い春、赫い絲) by Kisayuki
Hengoku no Calendula (辺獄のカレンデュラ) by Haji
These are two mangas that I haven't read and I got curious about them so I bought copies. I've read Haji's Bouzu to Kumo and I loved it so I have high expectations over Hengoku no Calendula, which I think has been licensed to English and has been published!
I clearly remember buying 17 mangas but if you're counting, I only have sixteen so I'm not sure where the other manga went. XD
Anyway, this post really is just about me continuing to blog here, so look forward to more posts from me! I'm excited to revive this blog and I hope to get a comment or two from readers, if I ever have one.
Until next time!
